In John 16:7, Jesus explains that he must leave in order for the Holy One to remain with all of us.

“But I tell you the truth: It is for your good that I am going away. Unless I go away, the Counselor will not come to you; but if I go, I will send him to you.”

And in John 14:26, Jesus explains some of the roles of the Holy Spirit, “But the Counselor, the Holy Spirit, whom the Father will send in my name, will teach you all things and will remind you of everything I have said to you.“

The scripture references below touch on acknowledging the indwelling of Holy Spirit and the ways in which we can become changed from the inside out.
